A two-sided marketplace that respects both sides
Parents find tutors. Tutors find students. Nobody posts a phone number in public, and nobody gets to unlock a hundred contacts for free. Here is the entire flow, with no steps hidden.
For parents & students
Five steps from searching to a first session
- 1
Create a parent or student account
Register with your name, contact details and city. You get a small starter credit balance so you can test the flow before paying anything.
- 2
Post a tuition requirement
One form captures class, board, subjects, locality, tuition mode, preferred timing, sessions per week and budget. This is what tutors actually search against.
- 3
Search tutors with real filters
Filter by city, locality, class, board, subject, tuition mode, experience and fee range. Your requirement drives a match score shown on every card.
- 4
Save leads for free, unlock the ones that matter
Saving a tutor costs nothing. Unlocking a contact costs one credit and reveals phone, email and address.
- 5
Call, meet, agree terms
Contact details are yours to discuss once unlocked. Fees, schedule and expectations are agreed directly between you and the tutor.
For tutors
One profile, a live board of student requirements
Tutors do not wait for a WhatsApp group to fill up. Every open requirement in your city and subject is searchable, filterable and unlockable.
Register as a tutor- 1
Register with your teaching details
Qualification, institution, experience, classes, boards, subjects, locality, tuition mode, availability and expected fees. A complete profile gets more unlocks.
- 2
Get verified
An admin reviews your submitted details. Until a profile is verified it stays out of parent search, which protects everyone from bad leads.
- 3
Search the requirement board
Filter open requirements by city, locality, class, board, subject, tuition mode, timing and budget. Matching scores are computed against your own profile.
- 4
Unlock the leads worth pursuing
One credit reveals the parent's contact details. Unlocking your own or a repeat contact is blocked, so credits are never wasted.
- 5
Follow up, report problems
If a lead goes cold or a listing looks wrong, report it from the contact page. Reports go straight to the admin console.
Matching
Six signals, each with a visible weight
The match score on every card and lead is the sum of these weighted signals. Nothing is hidden behind an opaque ranking model.
Class
26 ptsExact class match counts fully. A neighbouring class counts as a near miss rather than a failure.
Subject
24 ptsAny overlap between the tutor's subjects and the requirement's subjects scores.
Locality
18 ptsSame neighbourhood scores highest. Same city without a locality match scores nothing on this signal.
Board
12 ptsTutor teaches the requested board (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, IB, Cambridge).
Tuition mode
12 ptsHome, online or flexible either way. A tutor who offers both never misses this signal.
Budget
8 ptsOverlap between the tutor's expected fee and the stated budget, with tolerance for a small overshoot.
Score bands
Bands are descriptive, not pass/fail. A 62% match can still be the right person.
Strong
Worth a look
Weak overlap
Credits
How the credit system actually works
The default model is deliberately simple: 10 unlocks per starter pack, one credit per contact, and another pack when you reach zero.
The rule
- A pack of 10 credits gives you 10 contact unlocks.
- Unlocking one contact deducts exactly one credit: 10 → 9 → 8 … → 0.
- At zero credits you can still browse and save, but not unlock.
- Buying another pack adds credits on top of whatever balance remains.
- Admins control the pack sizes. 10, 25 and 50 ship by default; others can be created in the admin console.
- Both parents and tutors use credits the same way.
Credit balance walkthrough
Illustrative example, not a real transaction.
- 1Buy the Starter pack10 credits
- 2Unlock a tutor contact9 credits
- 3Unlock a second contact8 credits
- 4Save three leads (free)8 credits
- 5Keep unlocking…0 credits
At zero, unlocking is blocked with a clear prompt to buy another pack.
For admins
What the admin console controls
- 1
Review and verify
Approve or reject tutor submissions, and mark profiles verified so they appear in search.
- 2
Control visibility
Hide any profile or requirement from search without deleting it. Useful when a listing is inaccurate or under review.
- 3
Manage credits and packs
Set the credit cost of an unlock, create or archive packs, and grant or deduct credits manually with a recorded reason.
- 4
Moderate
Work through complaints, suspend or block accounts, and review payments. Every action lands in the audit log.
